Joy in Giving Foundation is more than a charity organization. It is a vehicle for change. We are a publicly supported 501(c)(3) organization that spreads love and joy to orphaned and needy children in Africa. We believe that if we impact a child’s life, no matter how small, it ripples into the world around them. TV personality Joyce Midley-Quainoo established the foundation for three main reasons:
- JOY GIVING-To help make life comfortable for orphaned and needy children at an identified orphanage.
- JOY TREE- A special Christmas initiative to show love to children of incarcerated prisoners.
- JOY IMPACT- Mentoring youth/students through well-organized bi-annual programs.
Our foundation believes every child deserves a better life, so we ensure that the necessities of life, including nutritious food, clothing, clean water, shelter, and education, are provided. We, therefore, engage in programs and projects aimed at contributing to the socio-economic well-being of every child we target.
These are the key areas we focus on :
- Education– We provide sponsorships for orphans, develop school infrastructure, and supply teaching and learning materials.
- Food & Nutrition– We supply food items, restock pantries, and support sustainable projects such as farming.
- Health & Wellness– We organize regular medical screenings, provide health supplies, host sporting events, and offer clothing, clean water, beds, and other essential amenities.
- Mentorship – We inspire and build the confidence of the youth, including orphans and street children, through well-structured programs featuring prominent personalities and celebrated TV presenters.
- Offering HopeO – We provide hope by showing love to the children of prisoners through a family Christmas celebration filled with gifts
Our ultimate goal is to put a smile on a child’s face, and we do this “straight from our hearts.”
Partner with us, and let’s spread the joy!
Our Vision is to help create a future where no child is left behind.
Our Mission is to transform the lives of orphans and underprivileged children in Africa by providing them with the essential resources to overcome poverty.
