Joy in Giving Foundation has expanded its charitable outreach to Ibadan, Nigeria, by presenting sports accessories to Sanctuary Strikers FC. This grassroots football club, led by Emmanuel Udo, keeps Ibadan’s underprivileged youth off the streets through soccer.

The items include footballs, jerseys, boots, shin guards, gloves, hurdles, and training cones—resources that will enable the club to train and develop its young athletes.

More Than A Game

The initiative, dubbed “JOY meets Soccer,” marks the beginning of an ongoing partnership, with the foundation pledging continued support to Sanctuary Strikers FC as it inspires discipline and teamwork among the youth in the community.

Over the years, Joy in Giving Foundation has supported orphanages and vulnerable children in Ghana and Kenya, providing resources that promote education, well-being, and opportunity.

Through projects like ‘JOY meets Soccer‘, the Foundation is proving that every child deserves a chance to dream, play, and grow. Presenting the items, the Nigerian Coordinator for Joy in Giving Foundation, Pastor Kingsley Ejuone, explained that by supporting young athletes in Ibadan and across Nigeria, the foundation is not only equipping them with sports gear but also opening doors to opportunities and better futures.
